Quality Assurance Manager - Cincinnati, OH
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for Quality Assurance and Vendor Compliance Teams
- Continually develop processes, testing, reporting, and in-house expertise to achieve budgeted return rate.
- Achieve target vendor compliance percentage.
- Improve customer satisfaction.
- Resolution of any product issues that impact customer satisfaction through coordinating Product Specialist, Merchant, Inventory Planner, Quality, & CCSG DC/CC resources
- Negotiation of cost recovery for products that fail QC inspection upon receipt to DC
- Reduce product quality/packaging quality surprises
- Support Liquidation Manager with necessary information/tools to achieve maximum RTV’s and Credits for field-destroyed product
- Other duties as requested
Experience Requirements
- 3-6 years of Consumer Product Industry related experience with demonstrable success.
- Experience in AQL and proficient knowledge of ASTM
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, merchandising or related field
- Must be able to work effectively within a very dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth related company.
- Demonstrated experience managing a team.
- Demonstrated ability to identify positive changes to process and products, evaluate alternatives, achieve buy-in from stakeholders, implement change effectively, and achieve intended results.
- Proven ability and willingness to actively participate in all areas of the Quality department activities while motivating and developing others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external individuals, at both peer and senior level.
- Ability to work with mainframe systems, reporting tools, and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word & Excel).
